Are you getting what you ask for?

We live in a society that is so self-centered and expects instant gratification. Is that how you approach God?

Perhaps you have been asking for the wrong things!

God cannot go against His nature. He is not a genii whose only purpose is to grant your wishes. He will give you what you seek if it is in line with His desires. He will give you what you seek if you seek Him first.

It is a matter of priorities.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
(Matthew 6:33 (NIV))

When you seek His kingdom first, everything else becomes unimportant.

What is important to you?

Is it the same thing that is important to God?

What have you been asking for?
