Law brings condemnation!

Whether it is man's law or God's law, if you do not follow the law you are guilty and stand condemned of the transgression. In this sinful, fallen world, we think that we know justice, but how many times have you seen someone get away with something that was not lawful?

What about God's law?

As sinful humanity, we cannot perfectly keep God's law. Each of us has fallen, and God knows every transgression that we have made!

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
(Romans 3:23 (NIV))

We have hope!

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
(John 3:16-17 (NIV))

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
