Without the resurrection, we have no need to go!

Without the resurrection, our faith is of no value!

Without the resurrection, we would simply be spreading lies!

But THERE WAS a resurrection, and that single point in time changed everything.

We are to go and share the Gospel with the world. We are to give our lives to the task of telling others about the love that God shares with those who will simply believe.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
(John 3:16-18 (NIV))

We are to share with a sinful and dying world the truth of the power of the love that Jesus came to bring. We are to share the power of the crucifixion and the resurrection. We are to share the truth about what this truly means, for it is so much more than just a good story.

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.
(1 John 3:16 (NIV))

There is power in the love that sent Jesus. There is power in the love that Jesus expressed on the cross. We are called to go and share that love so that others may receive.
