Do you praise the Lord for what He has done? Do you praise the Lord for what He is doing, and do you praise Him for what He will do?

Sometimes I feel as if I am living in a bubble. I see things going by and they don't seem to have any impact on me. Other times, I feel as if I am living right on the edge of something amazing. I see the things that God is unfolding. I feel as if my heart could burst as I see and hear of the things that He is doing. What I find so intriguing is the fact of how quickly I can go from living in a bubble to living on the edge. Tonight was just such an occasion.

As I sat down in front of my computer this evening, my mind was empty. My thoughts were not where I wanted them to be. I was in a bubble, a self-centered bubble where I was weary and wanted to be left alone. If you are like me, it is in these moments that the Lord does something amazing. He took me from my bubble to the very edge of what He is doing all through a video report of things that are happening in Israel, and I am not talking about the attacks and the warfare.

I am talking about Jesus being proclaimed by both Israelis and Arabs!

I don't know about you, but this is amazing!

I heard about two men who fought on opposite sides in the same battle in the 1967 war. They are now best friends and they both profess Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. I heard another story of an Arab man shouting that we all need Jesus! I don't know about you, but this is why I love to lift His name and why I love to study His word.

Your word is a lamp to my feet
     and a light to my path.
(Psalm 119:105 (NIV))

Do you live to praise His name?

Do you live to meditate on His word?

When you look around at the world, you see things unfolding that we were told would happen, but do you see the individual stories that are wrapped up in these events? God works in the hearts and minds of believers to change the world. Even when there are wars and rumors of wars, God is also showing us His light through the lives of individuals just like the examples I spoke of. He is looking for those who desire to have their words, thoughts and actions be acceptable in His sight.
