Be Still . . .

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.
(Luke 19:10 (NIV))
Do you feel lost?
You may think that you have professed a faith in Jesus. He has saved you. You are not eternally lost, but even believers have doubts. Even believers feel lost at times.
Does this describe you and you current circumstances in life?
Everyone faces troubles in this life. We are not guaranteed an easy life after we accept Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior. We are guaranteed that Jesus has overcome the world. We are told to keep our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. We are told that we must not fear, but have faith.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
(2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV))
Have you overcome all fear?
Do you want to overcome all fear?
Keep your eyes focused on Jesus. Turn to the Lord in all things - in times of thanks and in times of need. We have a promise that we can count on when we do just that.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
(Psalms 23:3 (NKJV))
My family, like every other family, is not exempt from the weight of the world pressing down on us. Sometimes the pressures, the troubles, get overwhelming. It is at these times that we encourage each other to keep our eyes focused on Jesus. Everything is in the hands of the Lord!
I once had someone tell me that people wanted to read about those who have it all together, about those who know it all. There is no such person alive today that even comes close. In fact, there has only ever been one person in all of humanity's history that this applies to and His name is Jesus!
We can't save ourselves. Even after we accept God's free gift of salvation, we can't overcome the world on our own. We need Jesus!
Surrender it all to Jesus!
