Trust in the Lord with all your heart

Do you understand what is happening in the world at this moment?

Think about that.

We are inundated with news from recent events, yet, how many of us pay attention for more than a few days when the events are unfolding half way around the world? How many of us care more about the repercussions of these events as they impact us, versus what is actually happening to the people who are living in the midst of everything?

We care more about the increase in the price of a gallon of gas than we do the thousands of people who have been killed in events leading up to this war. We care more about our daily commute being slowed down than we do about the millions of people who are in harms way. We care more about our social circle than we do about the people who are facing an eternity separated from God because they haven't accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.

What are our priorities?

Just where is our trust placed?

What do we truly understand about how God sees the world?

We know what we do when events are half way around the world, but what would you do if something unfolded in your city and in your neighborhood? Would we get outside of our personal bubbles and recognize that we are not alone, that we are not the center of God's creation?

Are you ready for a wake up call? Are you ready for your faith to be tested in a way that goes much deeper than praying for that pay raise that you so desperately want?

What is your understanding of faith and trust?

Are you living according to His understanding?
