Be Still . . .

Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters.
(James 1:16 (NIV))
Can you trust anything anymore?
We have promises of wealth from an African prince. We have SPAM emails and texts. We have Phishing emails, texts and phone calls. We have deep-fake audio and video. We have "news" that is more like propaganda. We have real events around the world that we know nothing about, and we have major uprisings because someone got their feelings hurt.
What has happened to this world?
We have wars and rumors of wars. We have nation rising against nation and kingdom against kingdom. We have good being called evil and evil being called good.
And, now . . .
The latest I am seeing is that the government has supposedly called a large group of pastors together to tell them to prepare their congregations for the disclosure of aliens.
I don't know about you, but I don't trust much of anything anymore. I know that I can only trust in the Lord. My goal, my desire, is exactly as Paul wrote to the church at Philippi.
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 3:14 (NIV))
Do you press on when all around you is chaos? Do you press on when nothing makes sense? Do you press on to win the prize that Paul wrote about?
When you see the things happening in the world, it is important to remember what we are told in Luke.
When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."
(Luke 21:28 (NIV))
Now is time to look to the Lord!
