Have you ever had someone tell you not to tell them about Jesus or the consequences of not believing in Him?

Did you back down?

Did you surrender to their request, or did you stand your ground and profess the name of Jesus?

Sadly, some people just don't want to hear the truth. They don't want to be told that their actions have consequences that reach far beyond their limited understanding and physical life.

Think back on your life before you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Did you want to hear what anyone had to say about Jesus? Aren't you now glad that someone had the courage to still speak the name of Jesus to you? Do you possess the same courage?

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
(2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV))

If you profess a faith in Jesus, you are called to share the Gospel with those whom you encounter. Some will listen while others do not. We are to be bold in the face of opposition. We are to be bold in the face of the enemy.

We don't know what tomorrow holds for us. We don't know what tomorrow has in store for those who are telling us to stop speaking the name of Jesus. We may be the last person to share the Gospel with someone. I don't want to stand before the Lord and be held accountable for not telling someone about Jesus.
