When he came to his senses, he said, 'How many of my father's hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death!'
(Luke 15:17 (NIV))

We read this passage and think of the prodigal son returning home.

If we give this any thought, we also see a sinner returning to the Father, but do we ever stop to think of the urgency of that return?

With everything that is transpiring in this sinful, fallen world today, do you feel an urgency?

I am not professing that anything will happen tonight, tomorrow, next week, or even next month, but I do want to stress how important it is to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior before it is too late.

Just what is too late?

No one is promised tomorrow. Your next breath could be your last. Do you want to experience physical death without the peace of knowing your eternal destination?

We don't have to!

Do you want to experience what this world will be like after Jesus removes His church?

We don't have to!

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
(John 3:16-18 (NIV))

Take a look at your life. Take a look at what the world promises, and then take a look at what the true promises are through Jesus. It's not too late to repent and come home!

Have you thought about returning to the Father?

It's not too late to come to your senses!
